Seniors at the College of Wooster and Ashland University breathed a collective sigh of relief as commencement activities for the Class of 2021 were held Saturday at both schools.
More than 380 graduates participated in the in-person exercises, with families and guests taking part virtually at the College of Wooster’s 151st commencement at John Papp Stadium.
A few members of the 2021 class shared their thoughts about graduating after a year of turmoil and the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
What are the challenges of graduating from college in 2021?
Kathryn Dunkelberger of Seattle, a music therapy major, said trying to figure out the state of music in an online world or in a socially distanced, masked format has been her biggest challenge.
