I am one of the most fortunate people you could ever meet. Early in my career, after teaching math and science for almost three years, I made a decision to go to graduate school before finding my way to the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo. There, I was hired as an intern in the education department by Annette Berkovits, one of the many strong and accomplished women employed by WCS at the time.
