We re doing too little too slowly : Thousands of teens take part in School Strike 4 Climate protests Newshub 3 hrs ago © Provided by Newshub Thousands of protesters have hit the streets in about a dozen centres across New Zealand, calling for more action on climate change.  The School Strike 4 Climate movement, inspired by Swedish teen activist Greta Thunberg, returned on Friday after a year-and-a-half s absence due to COVID-19. Photos show most of the attendees were teenagers.  About 1000 protesters turned out in Auckland, hundreds in Christchurch and about 5000 in Wellington, gathering outside Parliament despite the rain. They were met by four Green MPs, but none from the other parties, Stuff reported.
