The initial jury award announced in the Kobe Bryant crash trial has been corrected from $31 million to $30 million, after an error had been found in the verdict.
Bryant and co-plaintiff Chris Chester contend they suffer sadness, grief and emotional distress as a result of photos of family members' remains taken by first responders at the scene of the 2020 helicopter crash that took the lives of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and eight others.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend, Gianna Bryant and the other seven victims died in the crash on 26 January 2020 when the helicopter came down as they flew from Orange County to a basketball tournament.
