Governor Terry Branstads plan to privatize calls for four outofstate companies to manage iowas medicaid system, january 1st. They held signs saying statements like love trumps hate, love the mother mosque, and stop the hate. The members say seeing poltiicians like trump twist religion to manipulala isnt right. Some said the large turnout shows trumps statements dont align with cedar rapids values. I am so proud that cedar rapids is standing up for muslims and other minorities i wish other cities could do the same.
