Food Bank of Delaware hosting drive-thru mobile pantries in March

The Food Bank of Delaware will host more drive-thru mobile pantries during March in each Delaware county for families struggling to afford food.
Mobile pantries are set for:
March 1 at 11 a.m., Crossroad Community Church, 20584 State Forest Road, Georgetown, register at marsussexcountyfood.eventbrite.com;
March 3 at 11 a.m., Dover International Speedway, 1131 N. Dupont Highway, Dover, register at mardovercountyfood.eventbrite.com;
March 5 at 11 a.m., Delaware Technical Community College, 400 Stanton Christiana Road, Newark, register at marnewcastlecountyfood.eventbrite.com.
The Food Bank of Delaware requests that participants make sure their trunks or back seats are cleared out so volunteers can load food with minimal interaction.

Police pursuit ends in crash, hour-long search for suspect in New Castle County

It took an hour for police to capture the suspect.
NEW CASTLE COUNTY, Del. - An overnight police chase ended with a car crash and an hour-long search for the suspect.
The chase happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Christiana Road and Old Baltimore Pike in Christiana, Delaware.
State troopers were pursuing a car reportedly going nearly 100 miles per hour.
Officers say the driver collided with another vehicle, hopped out and ran into a wooded area nearby.
The driver was arrested about an hour later.
