The No. 7 Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Lacrosse Team defeated No. 12 Limestone at home for the first time in program history on Saturday afternoon, 16-7, and has now defeated the Saints three of the last four times head-to-head.
After Toron Eccleston scored the game’s opening goal, the Saints answered with a pair. The fast-moving first quarter would finish with a 6-4 LR advantage.
The Bears outscored Limestone 10-3 in the final three quarters and only allowed one goal in each of those three frames.
All three starting attackmen Eric Dickinson, Myles Moffat and Toron Eccleston scored four goals in the victory. Dickinson added four assists for an 8-point afternoon. With his six points, Moffat becomes just the seventh player in program history with 100 career points.
