Nissen served as CEO since the company’s inception in 1995 June 1, 2021
Pandox CEO Anders Nissen has passed away after a short period of illness. Nissen had been CEO of Pandox since inception in 1995.
“There are not words enough to describe the sense of sadness and loss we are all feeling. Our thoughts are with Anders and his family. The board of directors is now forced to begin to search for a new CEO. During this process, Liia Nõu will continue as acting CEO and CFO. Anders Nissen leaves behind a strong and executive organization in which the board of directors has strong confidence,” Christian Ringnes, chairman of the board of directors, Pandox, said in a company statement.
The new Oslo astrological clock was unveiled yesterday during a ceremony hosted by Mayor Fabian Stang at Karl Johans 3 in central Oslo, Norway. The city now boasts its own astronomical clock alongside other European cities such as Prague, Strasbourg and Copenhagen.
The clock was donated by Eiendomsspar AS CEO, Christian Ringnes and features artwork designed by artists, Elena Engelsen and Per Ung.
“We are incredibly proud that Oslo now has an astrological clock, especially as it was designed by Elena Engelsen and Per Ung, two of Norway’s most renowned artists. The clock is clearly visible and will set a solid mark on the cityscape,” said Mayor Fabian Stang during yesterday’s unveiling.
