Kenyans on social media have expressed their views and shock after it emerged that Elizabeth Koki, Laywer who was killed at her Syokimau home and her lover Christian Mwambay Kadima, met at a gym.
One Facebook user named Desiree Effykay wrote, “This is extremely sad. Having interacted with Koki, it’s quite unfortunate such a bright mind, focused and all had to be murdered by someone she thought loved her.”
Amir Mangisi wrote “So sad. Why should love stories end up with a tragic culmination?”
“May her soul rest in eternal peace. Let justice be served,” Lewis Juma said.

The main suspect in the killing of advocate Elizabeth Koki Musyoki was yesterday arraigned at the Mavoko law court in Machakos County.
Christian Mwambay Kadima appeared before Principal Magistrate Bernard Kasavuli, where the prosecution sought 14 days to complete investigations into the killing. Mr Kasavuli granted the request by the prosecution and ordered that the suspect be remanded at Mlolongo police station.
The matter will be mentioned on January 25, where the suspect will take a plea awaiting further orders.
The investigative body indicated that Kadima had tried to outsmart officers by driving his getaway car to Riruta, to create a false impression on his whereabouts.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested a Nigerian national suspected to have murdered a female city lawyer in her Syokimau house before fleeing.
Christian Mwambay Kadima (pictured), who has been on the run since the wee hours of the morning, following the gruesome murder of a prominent city lawyer was smoked out of his hideout, in a city lodging hours after the gruesome murder.
“Detectives who have been trailing the suspect smoked him out of his hideout at a lodging in the city,” said DCI on Saturday.
The suspect is reported to have driven himself to Riruta before heading to a city lodging where he hid.
