PLANS to turn an office block empty for three years into more than 100 homes have been submitted to civic chiefs. Dukes Keep on March Lane could become 118 flats should the application be approved by Southampton City Council. The 14-storey building has been out of use for three years after it was deemed unsafe in 2018. Applicant Metropolitan Properties Ltd submitted the application and the building is up for sale for £12.5 million according to estate agents Savills. The site, made up of two buildings, was originally used as offices with some arranged over the two floor levels and the others arranged over the 14 floor levels.
