The heavy rain in northern scotland easing to showers, but quite a lot of clear weather around overnight, and temperatures dipping away quite widely into single figures, as we start the day tomorrow and as we start september. Showers tomorrow from the word go in a northern and western scotland. But fine, sunny weather across many other parts of the uk, but the showers will move further south and east during the day. Some of them likely to be heavy and possibly thundery, whereas much of south wales and southern england will avoid the showers and stay dry.
