In December of 1994, 15-year-old Chanty Shiverdecker was last seen at basketball practice at Radley Elementary. Now 27 years later, her family and authorities are still searching for answers.

inmate chris shiverdecker was recently approved for a transfer out of level six to level five. that was until today. shiverdecker when i escorted him he said to make sure they don t have he said to make sure that i didn t have a rookie with me when i came to pick him up from the yard. then he said to watch myself. and usually when he tells us something, we knew that there was business or there was something that was going to happen. his intention was to assault the inmate that was directly ahead of him. if i would have had it my way, she would have been dead. what happened? threatened my life and walk around. it s something i had to do. i didn t have a choice. what did you do? slipped the handcuffs and tried to get somebody. how? i just pop my thumb and slide
