Alberta s P 1 variant outbreak linked to out-of-province traveller, spread in three worksites: Hinshaw

Article content An outbreak of the P.1 variant first identified in Brazil started with a traveller returning to Alberta from out of province and has been traced to three worksites, chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said Monday. To date, there are 26 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across worksites in the Central Zone and North Zone and of those, three are confirmed to be the variant of concern, Hinshaw tweeted.
