Matt Coghlin in 2018 set a Michigan State record with 18 consecutive made field goals.
The kicker’s name also came up plenty the following season but for the wrong reason as he went through an extended slump for the first time in his career.

It appears Michigan State’s starting placekicker is coming back for another season.
Fifth-year senior Matt Coghlin indicated via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon he is returning to the team in 2021. He tweeted “Year 6. The Show Goes On” along with an edited clip of the “I’m not leaving” scene from the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
Enloe kicker Laith Marjan commits to East Carolina

Enloe senior kicker Laith Marjan has pledged to sign with the East Carolina Pirates.
Marjan announced his decision on his Twitter account after 9:00 on Tuesday night.
According to Kohl s Professional Football Camp s national kicker recruiting rankings, Marjan is ranked No. 46 in the class of 2021. According to Chris Sailer Kicking, Marjan has the talent to be a freshman year starter at an FBS program. He is considered a 5-star prospect by both services.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound kicker also held scholarship offers to Air Force, Army, Butler, Campbell, Davidson, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Lafayette, Oklahoma, Oregon State, and Tulane. He also had preferred walk-on opportunity at UNC Charlotte.
