Mc Charlene berates Cameroon fans over Naira Marley s failed concert

By Chris Onuoha Popular Cameroonian International female Master of ceremony (Mc), Mc  Charlene, the Energy Goddess, has berated fellow Cameroonians who are rejoicing over the canceled February 14 valentine’s day concert. The Norwegian-based Mc who has always called for collaboration between Nigerian and Cameroonian artists, DJs, entertainers, Filmmaker, and those in the entertainment industry find it hard to believe that some Cameroonians are rejoicing because a show to be headed by a Nigerian artists and superstar Naira Marley was canceled. In a Facebook post, Mc Charlene made it clear to her fellow Cameroonians that a fight with Nigeria would not help Cameroonian entertainment industry grow. She also said those rejoicing over the canceled concert should know that it is the Cameroonian promoters that suffer a loss because Naira Marley has already been paid.

SayNo2Slavery,’ Damilola Falodun has decried an attempt by some online media organisation to malign her name in a criminal case involving two young girls who sought to kill their parents. In a recent publication by some of the online platforms, titled, “See the Two Girls That Sent Assassins to Kill Their Rich Parents” , Falodun lamented how the bloggers allegedly placed her photograph alongside the criminal girls as an accomplice in the matter without her knowledge, thereby, connecting her to the crime. Speaking in Lagos, Falodun questioned how her photograph that was totally different and separately taken as a single picture was attached to that of the two girls who committed the crime, noting that the insertion of her photograph contradicts the story headline that reads “Two girls that sent assassins to kill their rich parents”

COVID-19: Iwu restates efficacy of herbal medicine treatment

By Chris Onuoha Bioresources Development Group (BDG) chairman, Prof. Maurice Iwu has restated the efficacy of herbal medicine in the treatment of the COVID-19 cases as the virus enters variant stage globally. The former chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and eminent Professor of Pharmacognosy, Iwu, in a chat with Vanguard said that the effectiveness of special herbal drugs produced in the country, stands the chance of combating the disease at an early stage, but noted that the slow pace in acceptance and approval hinders its feasibility. Iwu also pointed that herbal extracts from a plant, “Andrographis Paniculata”, commonly known as green chiretta, already approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of Thailand is on its way to serve as an alternative treatment to the severity of the ailment.
