Sonic the Hedgehog, and understandably so, as the original design for the character was rather terrifying and no one really wanted to hand over their money to sit in a cinema watching a family film where the titular hero was a nightmare to look at. Thankfully, then, Paramount delayed the pic by three months and spent millions of dollars on a total redesign.

Doug Crane, Renowned East Coast Animator, Dies At 85
Last week, we published a tribute to the industry figures who passed away this year. But it turns out 2020 wasn’t quite done dispensing bad news. Another great talent has since left us: Doug Crane, animator and pillar of the East Coast industry, died from cancer on Thursday, his daughter Rose-Ellen announced on Facebook. He was 85.
In the course of his epic career, Crane worked in series, commercials, and features, lending them his considerable talents as an animator, but also in storyboarding, layout, backgrounds, and character design. His credits include
Beavis and Butt-Head, Mighty Thor, The Smurfs, Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and

Funimation brought out the second season of
Tales of Zestiria the X as a DVD/BD combo release on March 13th, 2018 and at the time it received both a regular edition and a limited edition release. As we’re now just about two years past that release, it looks like the show is getting some extra distribution through the
Tales Of YouTube channel out of Japan. The
Zestiria the X series now has the first couple of episodes out and streaming with English subtitles. They’re also streaming
Tales of the Abyss but those are not subtitled.
Funimation brought out a complete collection this summer for Blu-ray only and priced and $34.98, we now have the finalized packaging design for the set.
