STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. At just seven years old, Staten Island native Lexi Alon’s singing talent became evident to everyone around her, especially her parents, who promptly enrolled her at the Staten Island Conservatory of Music at Snug Harbor, where the St. George resident was vocally coached by Elaine Kennerly. She is the daughter of Celeste Holmes and Marvin Bute of Island Bute Productions.
“My parents took notice of my love for song and encouraged me to develop my talent,” said Alon, an alumna of Notre Dame Academy, Petrides High School, and the University of Hartford in Connecticut. “As I got older, they enrolled me in acting camp and since then, my love for the performing arts has grown. That’s how it all started.”
