By Sports Reporter WARRIORS defender Tendayi Darikwa is set to remain at the former Premier League side next season after being offered a new contract last week. The 29-year-old footballer arrived at Wigan in January on a six-month contract, from Championship side Nottingham Forest, where he struggled to get game time following his return from a lengthy injury that derailed his blossoming career. Despite arriving at Wigan on the back of having been frozen at Nottingham for the first half of the previous season, Darikwa went on to become a key figure in the Latics’ squad during the second half of the just concluded campaign after helping Wigan Athletic survive relegation from England’s League One.
