The number of women and people over the age of 55 years old who are experiencing homelessness for the first time is on the rise in the River Valley, according to Hope Campus executive director Chris Joannides.
The city is amending ordinance 16-4 of the city’s code, making it unlawful for tents and camping accessories to be on private property without the property owner’s consent effective today.
