Jill Biden is a Jersey Girl by birth and at heart.
While she mostly grew up outside of Philadelphia, she also lays claim South Jersey roots, having been born in Hammonton, New Jersey, during a weekend visit to her grandparents house and spent much of her childhood in the state s southern counties. (The first lady also lived for two years while a grade schooler in Mahwah, Bergen County.)
First lady Jill Biden, who turns 70 on June 3, even identifies herself as “a Hammonton girl,” which is what she told a local paper during an interview there last year while visiting as the former second lady of the United States in July.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. In its first weeks on Mars, NASA’s Perseverance rover has captured dazzling highlights, from video of its own dramatic landing to the first audio recordings from the red planet, the sounds of wind blowing and the rover’s laser zapping rocks.
