The force is yet to give any detail on the nature or location of the assault. They asked for any drivers with dashcam footage between 1pm and 2pm in Westfield Way, Akers Way, Moredon Golf Course, Thamesdown Drive, Oakhurst Way into Tadpole Village focusing on Greene Street, Trellis Street, Pearson Road and William Morris Way.

No arrests as investigation into Esso armed robbery continue

DETECTIVES probing an armed robbery at a Swindon garage are yet to make an arrest. A member of staff at the Kingshill service station was said to have been threatened at gunpoint on Easter Sunday by a masked man. The robber, who was said to have been around 5’ 6” and spoke with an English accent, made off with cash and cigarettes. A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said that enquiries were continuing. He confirmed that no one had yet been arrested in connection with the raid. On Monday, Det Insp Chris Feerick said: This was an extremely frightening experience for the member of staff. Fortunately they were unharmed but were very shaken by the incident.”
