Chris Evans has urged anyone concerned to get checked for skin cancer as he expressed his hopes of being done and dusted with the disease after having it removed from his leg on Thursday.
Chris Evans has had surgery to remove a cancerous blemish on his leg, just weeks after revealing his skin cancer diagnosis to the world on his Virgin Radio show.

The radio star explained he has special wipes he uses to clean and wipe away any residue sometimes caused by little mites called Demodex, that live in the eyelash follicals. I enjoy [wiping], it s like a practice! Chris told listeners.

The father-of-three has just returned to the airwaves after a two week break as he recovered from his operation.
Chris began to feel ill not so long ago and ended up in A&E with what he believed at first was trapped wind.

Chris praised the medical staff who quickly identified that he had kidney stones.
He said: The duty staff knew straight away what was wrong. They said, You ve got kidney stones. I went for a CT scan about an hour after I was admitted to A&E. Then I was given super painkillers which I was grateful for to take away the pain. I spent two nights in the hospital and sent home late Monday.
