LANE COUNTY, Ore. While Christmas Day is an expected day off for many, for others it’s business as usual.
That’s the case for the Coburg Fire District, as well as the countless other first responders in our area.
Kylee Wiser and Isaac Jackson are Resident Volunteer Firefighters.
“We’re always ready,” Wiser said. “We prepare year-round. Every week we have drills. We are practicing constantly, whether it be medical or firefighting related. We’re all putting in a lot of time and effort into firefighting,drilling and honing our skills to be ready at any moment.”
