open border. and as long as i ve been sheriff, 10 years, as long as i ve been working law enforcement 38 years i won t give up on the thing that we have to support border security in this country. neil: so whatever numbers they re talking about and they re all over the map, sheriff, they re not enough to address this in the spending measure, especially with title 42. i don t know what the supreme court is ultimately going to rule, but it likely goes away. then what? well, it s just crisis on top of crisis, neil. there is no action plan shared by the federal government, this administration, to address it. the only thing i ve heard from the federal government on addressing title 42 going away is let s put more money on those coming across, the welcome money is what i call it. how do we welcome them, how do we take care of them not about how do we secure the border. as long as we re avoiding that and neglecting that, it s only going to get worse for the communities on the border, hour c
