Ride for Hope, a registered 501(c) (3) Illinois charity, conceived and organized by JuliAnne Scully, is hosting a special one-day only benefit to raise money for Kris Stary, a Palatine High School teacher battling cancer, from 1-5 p.m. on Dec. 3, at Moretti s Ristorante and Pizzeria, 1175 W. Lake St., in Bartlett.
Dazzles Salon and Spa in Roselle will sponsor a Girls Night Out on May 8 to support Ride for Hope. In the past seven years, Ride for Hope has raised over $250,000 for local women battling ovarian cancer who are facing financial hardship.
Registration is open for the eighth annual Ride for Hope, a 501(c)(3) ovarian cancer awareness motorcycle ride and celebration, conceived and organized by JuliAnne Scully, a 39-year ovarian cancer survivor and owner of JuliAnne s Hair in Roselle.
