IPOH: The tailor whose pet dog was shot and killed in Tanjung Rambutan hopes that the shooter will be caught.
Chong Kwai Siew, 46, said she now fears for her life as there was someone going around indiscriminately shooting and taking lives.
“How can anyone simply shoot an animal?
“If the person had missed, I could have been the one who was shot, she told a press conference held by Perak MCA Public Service and Complaints Bureau chief Low Guo Nan at state MCA headquarters here on Tuesday (March 2).
“I also hope to get an explanation for the shooting and justice for my dog, ” she said, adding that she was still heartbroken over the incident.

IPOH: A tailor is devastated after her pet dog was shot and later died after she took it out to look for a missing chicken in Tanjung Rambutan near here.
Chong Kwai Siew, 46, said the incident happened at about 1.30pm at Kampung Lintang, Batu 8, on Saturday (Jan 27).
Chong said she kept her seven dogs and a few chickens at the back of her shop.
“When one of my chickens went missing, I took my dog Xiao Ju out to look for it.
“When walking past a few houses about 100m from my shop, I suddenly heard a gunshot.
“My dog and I quickly ran away from the area. When I reached my shop, I realised that my dog had been shot, ” she said on Sunday (Feb 28).
