The China Africa Business Council (CABC), dedicated to the economic development of Africa, has opened its first office in Lagos.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Energy, Henry Odein Ajumogobia SAN; Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Nigeria, Moyo Onigbanjo SAN; Consul General of the People’s Republic of China, Lagos, Chu Maoming; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Chairman Choice International Group, Chief Association Officer CABC Nigeria and Vice Chairman CABC, China, Chief Diana Chen and br Vice Chairman, Choice International Group, Dr. Linus Idahosa at the opening of CABC in Lagos.
The CABC, headquartered in China, is set up to incorporate Nigerian companies as members with their representative.

Lagos, March 6, 2021 Lagos State Government in collaboration with Choice International Group (CIG) Motors Co. Ltd. on Thursday rolled out 1,000 Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) as taxis for Lagos residents.
The event which was held at the Lagos House, Marina also featured the signing of agreement for the establishment of Motor Assembly Plant in Lagos State.
Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said that the Lagos State Taxi Scheme was another innovative policy of his administration targeted at making life easier for Lagosians, improving mobility and creating a seamless multi-modal transport system.
Sanwo-Olu said that the scheme would create jobs, accelerate socio-economic growth, and further put the state on the global map as the centre of excellence and a modern megacity committed to sustainable development.

Lagos State Government and a Chinese automobile firm, Choice International Group, CIG, on Thursday, signed an Agreement for the establishment of a motor assembly plant and proposed to take off 1,000 units of vehicles for the state taxi scheme.
The signing ceremony and flag-off ceremony for the commissioning were held at the Lagos House, Marina, Lagos Island.
The proposed automobile assembly plant is scheduled to be ready in 18 months.
