A CONSERVATION charity has invited the public to take part in a webinar exploring the effect of a herbicide on pollinators. The free event being held by Cumbria Wildlife Trust (CWT) will address the impact of glyphosate - a widely-used weedkiller - on pollinators such as butterflies. A CWT spokesman said: The webinar is aimed at anyone who is interested in herbicides and their effects, or is involved in managing or working on green spaces, or in a horticultural or garden setting. Dr Catherine Jones, of Buglife, a charity dedicated to the protection of insects, bugs and invertebrates, will discuss current research.
