Bulgaria s Hydrostroy wins 3.1 mln euro water infrastructure repair deal License: Creative Commons CC0 SOFIA (Bulgaria), March 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian water utility company ViK Stara Zagora said on Monday that it has signed a 6.1 million levs ($3.8 million/3.1 million euro) contract for the reconstruction of water supply and sewage infrastructure with local company Hydrostroy. The deal was signed on February 19 following a tender which attracted four offers, ViK Stara Zagora said in a notice to the public procurement agency. The contract concerns infrastructure in the town of Chirpan. The project benefits from EU funding under operational programme Environment 2014-2020. Last week, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it is providing a 3.7 million euro loan to the water utility company serving the Stara Zagora region, which will be complemented by a 2.4 million euro loan from the EU’s European structural and investment funds (ESIF
