NSF s mission is to advance the progress of science, a mission accomplished by funding proposals for research and education made by scientists, engineers, and educators from across the country.
NSF invites scholars to partner across disciplines and with supporting organizations, entrepreneurs, and investors to form research collaborations to investigate the challenges and systemic barriers faced by science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) entrepreneurs from minority populations and Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) jurisdictions and the best practices for overcoming these barriers.
The desired outcome of this DCL is to broaden awareness and gain insight into best practices that promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the science and engineering workforce and within innovation ecosystems across the nation. NSF encourages the development of tools and datasets that can be widely shared with the community.
