He hasnt made any public appearances since leaving the federal courthouse on wednesday and kpix 5 has learned that yee is fighting to keep his job. He isnt resigning. He despite calls for him to step down. Now, according to a capital source familiar with the discussions, yee told Senate Leaders that he wants to take a leave of absence but he hasnt formally requested that paid leave just yet and a spokesman for Senate Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg said he couldnt confirm those conversations but he did say wednesday steinberg offered only two options for yee, resign or be removed. They are inside right now, trying to accept the fact that the little girl who went in to get her tonsils removed is now on life support and they claim the hospital is making their situation worse. She told me my daughter would be home on tuesday. And now you are telling me she will never come home. Reporter she broke down in front of Childrens Hospital as she talked about her daughter, 13 yearold mcmath who had her tonsils and annoids removed, but one Family Member who is a surgical nurse says she kept asking for help, but few nurses were around and claimed that the staff didnt react until she started screaming for help. We spoke with one man headed to san bruno this morning who says he understands why the trains are shut down but its still frustrated. Its going to affect me.
