Singapore, Feb 9 (PTI) With many Chinese-origin families considering children born in the Year of the Dragon to be especially auspicious, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Friday urged married Singaporean couples to have babies during the year and assured them his government's support.
Zhang Bo was convicted in 2020 for throwing his two children from a 15th-floor apartment, while Ye Chengchen was convicted for allegedly coercing Zhang into committing this heinous act. Zhang, who had a two-year-old girl and a one-year-old boy, was reportedly asked by Ye to eliminate them, deeming the children an "obstacle" to their relationship.
