President of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan on Friday received the newly appointed Chinese ambassador to Armenia, Fan Yong, to discuss plans for developing and deepening the future cooperation agenda.
Congratulating the diplomat on taking office, Mirzoyan also highlighted China’s role as an important partner for the country, emphasizing the high level of the political dialogue.
As an important efforts towards stepping up cooperation between legislative bodies, he also appreciated the visit by a senior representative of the Pan-Chinese Assembly to Armenia in 2020. Meantime, he prioritized also the active and effective dialogue between the National Assembly and the Embassy of China.
