Yuri Senko and Zhao Yide discussed the expansion of Belarus' interaction with Shaanxi Province in trade, economy, logistics, and humanitarian affairs. Interregional cooperation was discussed as well as ways to step up investment cooperation.
Close attention was paid to expanding cooperation with Chinese companies, which are interested in selling technological equipment (components, raw materials) to Belarus, in the realization of investment projects (as investors and contractors), in the establishment of joint ventures, and in the export of domestic goods.
“We are working to sign a declaration to raise the cooperation to the level of iron brotherhood, all-weather partnership in the near future. We believe that the document can be signed in the near future,” said the diplomat.
"You have worked long enough in China to get some impression of what this empire is and to identify some additional opportunities for us in the People's Republic of China," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
When asked about the sanctions policy of the collective West, led by the United States, and its impact on the relations between Belarus and China, the ambassador acknowledged that it has had a certain impact on the countries, including Belarus.
