Detectives are requesting the public s help identifying a suspect in armed robberies at two area restaurants, the Fayetteville Police Department said Thursday.
The first robbery was reported just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at China One in the 100 block of Andrews Road. During the robbery, the man went behind the counter, pointed a firearm at an employee and demanded money, according to a news release.
The man left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the release.
The second robbery was reported just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at China Wok Buffet in the 5700 block of Yadkin Road. The same scenario played out in this robbery, where a man went behind the counter, pointed a firearm at the employee, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the release.
