SHAH ALAM: Pharmaniaga Bhd (Pharmaniaga) will supply 12 million doses of CoronaVac Covid-19 vaccine to the Ministry of Health (MOH), following the signing of an agreement by both parties today.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Health, Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba on behalf of the MOH, and Pharmaniaga was represented by its group managing director, Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope.
Zulkarnain said Pharmaniaga expects to receive the first supply of CoronaVac from China’s Sinovac Lifesciences Co Ltd (Sinovac) next month, and the vaccines will be available for the Malaysian by end of March or early April.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 26 The Health Ministry has signed an agreement with local pharmaceutical companies Pharmaniaga Berhad and Duopharma (M) Sdn Bhd, who will jointly supply 18.4 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines from China and Russia for Malaysia.
The agreement was signed earlier today by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba, with Pharmaniaga represented by its group managing director Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope and Duopharma by its group managing director Leonard Ariff Abdul Shatar, respectively.
KUALA LUMPUR: Pharmaniaga Bhd has entered into a term sheet agreement with the Government to supply 12 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine developed by China's Sinovac Life Sciences Co Ltd.
CGS-CIMB has upgraded Pharmaniaga Bhd to "hold" at RM5.27, with a higher target price (TP) of RM5.41 from RM4.15 previously, as the reseach house raised its earnings forecasts for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2021 (FY21) and FY22 to reflect Pharmaniaga's vaccine fill-and-finish venture contribution after sealing an agreement with China's Sinovac Life Sciences Co Ltd (Sinovac).
Pharmaniaga Bhd said today it is in the midst of negotiation with the Ministry of Health (MoH) for the purchase of the Covid-19 vaccine from China’s Sinovac Life Sciences Co Ltd (Sinovac LS) for distribution in Malaysia.
