A Chinese broadcaster has been attacked on social media after posts shared thousands of times claimed she said China responded very well to devastating floods which killed dozens of people in central China s Henan province. However, the claim is false; she was in fact speaking before the Henan floods struck in July 2021, and was referring to torrential rainfall in North China.
