As the eras passed, certain regions along the Yellow River became major cultural and political centers at various times, such as Luoyang in Central China s Henan Province, which served as the capital for 13 dynasties.
Diverse architectural culture developed as these regions prospered. Imperial structures, including palaces and gates, are usually what captures the public s attention due to their grand visages.
