“Children are equally threatened by the virus just like adults” LAHORE: Two children died of coronavirus in Children Hospital Lahore on Wednesday while 18 more are under treatment at the facility. Hospital staff revealed that the first victim, an 11-day-old infant, was admitted to the hospital for cardiac treatment. Later the child tested positive for Covid-19 that led to his death. The second child did not survive a fever which was a consequence of coronavirus infection. An official of the Children Hospital revealed that at least seven new Covid-19 cases among juveniles were detected during the last 24 hours. The third wave of the pandemic has infected several school kids and the infection rate is higher than its predecessor.
