Pakistan Rejects Being Listed On US Child Soldiers Prevention Act
Washington adds 15 nations, including Pakistan, Turkey, to list. Pakistan on Friday rejected its unsubstantiated and baseless inclusion on the US Child Soldiers Prevention Act (CSPA) list. Pakistan does not support any non-state armed group; nor any entity recruiting or using child soldiers, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, insisting that Islamabad s efforts in fighting non-state armed groups including terror entities are well recognised.
Washington on Wednesday added Pakistan and Turkey to the CASP list a designation included in the State Department s annual Trafficking in Person (TIP) report that ranks countries in various tiers in accordance with their efforts to eliminate trafficking.
