Rodolfo Azurin Jr. on Monday commended the Northern Police District (NPD) for the speedy resolution of the rape case involving a nine-year-old girl in Valenzuela City. An investigation by the Women's and Child Police Desk (WCPD) of Valenzuela City Police Station showed the victim was the daughter of the suspect's live-in partner. The incident happened last Sept. 3. The victim's mother immediately sought assistance from police officers at the Dalandanan Police Sub-Station, which resulted in the suspect's arrest on Sunday morning.
