Eight more former residents of the Lord’s Ranch residential treatment facility in Warm Springs, Ark., have come forward in a multi-plaintiff lawsuit filed by the Romanucci and Blandin and Gillispie Law Firm for sexual abuses that happened and were covered up at the family owned and run facility.
The lawsuit filed Friday in Suffolk Superior Court alleges that the 9-year-old victim, a fourth-grade student at the Match Community Day Charter School in Hyde Park, was repeatedly raped and battered by another student over a 7-month period.
Attorneys for the family allege the girl was repeatedly assaulted over a seven-month period, and that although the child was victimized a few feet away from a bus monitor and bus driver, neither took action to protect the girl on her trip home after classes.
