A developer has gotten another step closer to building more than 100 new residences along Old Number Six Highway on Elloree’s east side, within walking distance of the historic downtown district.
Elloree officials are paying off the remaining debt from the $1.1 million downtown streetscape project, Mayor Michael Fanning announced during the monthly town council meeting on Monday, Aug. 14.
The Town of Elloree anticipates collecting $574,460 in revenues in the coming 2023-2024 fiscal year, Mayor Michael Fanning said during the town council’s regular monthly meeting on Monday, July 10.
