Goa Forward Party files police complaint against CM, others on COVID-19 deaths due to oxygen shortage ANI | Updated: May 14, 2021 16:21 IST
Panaji (Goa) [India], May 14 (ANI): Goa Forward Party (GFP) on Thursday filed a complaint with the police against Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Chief Secretary Parimal Rai and nodal officer for oxygen allocation to hospitals Swetika Sachan for causing deaths of several COVID-19 patients due to interrupted supply of oxygen in Goa Medical College Hospital .
GFP Employees Forward convenor John Nazareth filed the complaint at Agacaim police station under Sections 336, 337, 338 and 304(A) read with Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Panaji, April 13 : The Congress in Goa on Tuesday alleged politicisation of the Covid-19 vaccination programme in the state, even after the model code of conduct has been imposed ahead of elections to five municipal councils.
In a letter to Chief Secretary Parimal Rai on Tuesday, state Congress President Girish Chodankar said that the Tika Utsav was being used to promote BJP leaders and that vaccination camps are being selectively held in municipal areas which are heading for elections.

Panaji (Goa) [India], March 2 (ANI): Goa governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari administered the oath of office to Vishwas Ramnath Satarkar as State Chief Information Commissioner (SCIC) and Sanjay Narayan Dhavalik as State Information Commissioner (SIC) on Tuesday.
According to the state government, Koshyari administered the oath of office to SCIC and SIC in the presence of Chief Minster Pramod Sawant.
According to a statement issued by the state government, Director of Information and Publicity Sudhir Kerkar read out the order of appointment of SCIC and SIC.
State Chief Secretary Parimal Rai, Secretary of Information and Publicity Mihir Vardhan and other officials were also present at the oath-taking ceremony.
