HILLSDALE The Rotary Club has spent countless volunteer hours raising funds and working to make the parks system at Baw Beese Lake one of the premier destinations for families throughout the county and beyond.
Unfortunately, work that was done to bring life back into the parks was met with some vandalism in recent years.
Police Chief Scott Hephner said that while there have been some issues with spray painting on the basketball courts near Sandy Beach, issues with vehicles on the courts and even an instance where the glass backboards were shot out with a pellet rifle, police aim to mitigate these issues with presence patrols.
