has agreed to stay open 24 hours a day for this weekend, people may feel fine now and they may have a problem tomorrow. they may have a problem next week. they may have a problem several months down the line but they should seek some counseling or resources if they have been victims. that is to be expected. if there are financial issues that should not stop them. they should contact us for financial resources. so we want to make sure we are getting out whatever, whatever our victims in this case need. so with that i will turn it over to the special agent. good afternoon. i just want to re-emphasize what chief oates has already talked about. we ve had a very tightly integrated investigative response. the fbi currently has approximately 100 folks on scene closely integrated with the aurora police department as do other federal agencies. so the atf as well is here in force with more than 25

massacre. we are, you can see people are jockeying for position. the police chief is there. we believe soon they will step up to the microphone and give an official statement on what they have learned at this hour. our trace gallagher of course has been following this story all morning. he joins us live from our west coast newsroom. what is the latest, trace? reporter: a couple things we re looking for in this news conference, alisyn, we have heard from police this morning the suspect, james holmes, is no longer cooperating which is odd because as soon as they located him he gave up weapons, semiconductoric rifle and handguns and there were ex-plos systems inside his explosives inside his apt. as we learned last several hours it was booby-trapped. they re now in the process of sending that robot in to see if they can depheiffer what the liquid in the coke bottles is. maybe detonate or pull those things out with a robot. they re getting ready for
