Pfizer vials very stable at -20°C
Pfizer vaccines will be more accessible to Australians following new advice the vials can remain “very stable” at -20 degrees.
Speaking to Today, Chief Medical Officer Professor Paul Kelly said it would be easier for more Australians to be vaccinated with Pfizer after the flexible new storage arrangements were announced.

“It can remain very stable at -20 degrees, which is a normal freezer temperature, and for a period in a normal fridge temperature as well,” Professor Kelly said.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) recently approved wider storage and transportation conditions for the Pfizer COVID-19 jab.
