Chief Goose, which was sponsored by the Burnham OIP, is located at 105 S. Logan Blvd, Burnham and is homage to the Chief Logan High School. The five-foot-tall fiberglass goose was painted by Kay Kirkland and was dedicated to the late Dwight Kirkland, who was a celebrated muralist, responsible for producing many of the murals in the Borough of Lewistown. LEWISTOWN – Throughout the course of the pandemic, Community Partnerships has continued to keep the Wild Geese Flock Together public art project moving forward.
There have been several new landings and we anticipate that 2021 will be a busy year, with several more geese currently at various stages of production. The goal of this project is to enhance tourism, strengthen community spirit, and build upon the public art of our region.
