Matthew Tester, who was known by many who knew him as Tik, was sadly pronounced dead after a car drove into a group of people on April 22. As the Surrey Comet reported previously, a 26-year-old man has been charged by police with Tik s murder. Shaan Mir, of Arlington Lodge in Weybridge, was charged with murder and attempt murder after he was arrested the same day. Surrey Police are appealing for footage showing a white BMW 1 series, index LM64 LVW.

Man charged in connection with Walton murder investigation
Police have issued an update in regards to the ongoing investigation
A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with an ongoing murder investigation in Walton-on-Thames. Shaan Mir, of Arlington Lodge in Weybridge, has been charged with murder and attempt murder after being arrested on Thursday (22 April).
Matthew Tester, 49, locally known as Tik, died at the scene after officers were called to reports of an incident on Church Road on Thursday (22 April).
The second victim, also in his 40s, received hospital treatment and is recovering from serious injuries.
Detective Chief Inspector David Springett, who is leading the investigation, said: âThis is an extremely difficult time for Tikâs family and I would ask that their privacy is respected to allow them to grieve in peace.â

Police were called to Church Street around 2.15pm to reports that an altercation had taken place between a group of men. Police said one of the men then got into his car, a white 1 series BMW, and reportedly drove at two of the other men in the group.
