BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Government on Saturday revised its earlier order making a seven-day home isolation mandatory for people arriving from five high risk states instead of 12.
As per the modified order, all incoming passengers from Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will remain in isolation for a week.

Bhubaneswar: With the daytime temperature soaring past 35 degree Celsius at several places in Odisha, the state government has issued specific guidelines on how to tackle this summer which is likely to be extremely hot, said official sources.
P K Jena, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), issued a letter to all district collectors on Wednesday as temperature crossed the 35-degree-Celsius mark in at least nine places across Odisha. The state capital Bhubaneswar recorded 38 degree Celsius, becoming the hottest place in the state for the second consecutive day.
